I like Chase Jarvis – he does many things I admire in a photographer and business person, and he produces great images! And the day I can afford to have my own ninjas or create a series to enter the Hasselblad Masters, I know I am probably doing OK.
But until then, I suspect Chase (and Seth Godin) are probably right – my images are boring! My images could certainly be better, my technique has a long way to go, and my creativity needs a good kick in the asinine – but I’m keen to work on it!!
Just so you know, this is not some whiny “my photos are crap” routine! I like to remind myself that I don’t have any laurels to rest on, and so I occasionally roll out articles like Chase’s, or the amazing video below from Zach Arias – do yourself a favour and watch it!!
Now go outside and get creative!!
