For the budding videographers
Came across this great article on how to make a professional short film on basically no budget – while most readers are probably purist photographers (yes, both of you), it is interesting nonetheless if you appy some of the planning and logistics elements to a regular photo shoot (particularly a location shoot!)

Dedicated to the craft
A question for all you shooters out there – how dedicated are you to your craft??? OK, it’s an unfair question – because all of us pale into insignificance in comparison with AP shooter Emilio Morenatti, who continued to shoot even after having his left foot amputated due to a bomb blast in Afghanistan. Your photos are boring
I like Chase Jarvis – he does many things I admire in a photographer and business person, and he produces great images! Continue reading
Shooting a magazine cover
Came across this video today, and I have to say I’m somewhat stunned by it – I always knew that there was a bit of work involved in making a magazine cover, but I had no idea how much actually happens!! Continue reading

Night Vision DSLRs

MSHVB (Mt St Helens Vietnam Band) has a Behind the Scenes video out of the filming of the clip for their new single “Albatross, Albatross, Albatross”. Continue reading

Sorry about the mess, but it was high time my old site was thrown out and a new era kicked off!! So, please bear with me while I shift the couches, re-hang the paintings, and try for some friendly ambience in my new renovated home!! Continue reading

What the…?
You might be wondering what this section is all about?? Well, I get asked a lot of questions from photographers and models about all sorts of topics!! Rather than answer it multiple times, I plan on putting my answers in here, as a little mini library for all the common questions I get all the time!!
I also invite all my readers (yes, all 3 of you!) to ask questions about things you actually want answers to, and I’ll do my best to answer!!
