I might be easy, but…

…I’m not cheap, as the saying goes!  There seems to be lots of noise at the moment about how professional photographers are fed up being asked to work for free or peanuts!! Normally I wouldn’t wade into these types of discussions, because I think I’m a bit of an anomaly in this space, but I do have some observations for those of you interested in sticking around to hear my ramblings (and this one could get long’ish, we’ll see…).  So read on!! 

Snappy Shutters Fraser Island Retreat – Awesome!!

What a month!! Everyone knows me to be hectic, but the last few weeks have been a standout for amazing experiences, great times spent with current and new friends, and some seriously amazing photography (usually captured by others more talented than me!!). The Flash Mob Gallery Exhibition – Behind the Scenes

Last month I was lucky to be involved in a gallery exhibition with the amazing talents of Keith Melder, Morgana Creely and Christopher Smith. The exhibition was held at 100th Gallery in Prahran, I definitely recommend you get on down there and check out the exhibitions, there’s amazing new stuff showing all the time!! Aurum Light in Australia!

Seriously exciting news folks – I’ve been working on this for almost 2 months, and it is finally going to happen for real! The famous Aurum Light Studio is officially coming to Australia to run their Milk Workshops! If you haven’t seen their workshops before, you need to check out their June workshop summary or their milk and water gallery.

We’ve even got Paul C Buff Australia on board, they’re loaning us the Einstein lights and packs for the workshops – these are some AMAZING lights, I’m keen to get a set for myself. If you want to know more about the lights, Shutterbug Magazine in the US ran an article/ad talking about how the Einstein’s were used in the Silver Angel water shoot!

Excited!!

Hectic with a capital “ZZzzzz…”
